Youth Congress activists today organised a rally here to demand CBI probe into the MPPEB and DMAT exam scam for admissions to government as well as private medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh, and later courted arrest.
"Yesterday, death of the 25th accused in the MPPEB scam was reported, which was shocking. Only a CBI probe will do justice in the matter," Youth Congress state president Kunal Choudhary, who led the demonstrators, said.
Choudhary said that agitation on the issue will continue until the matter is handed over to the CBI for detailed investigations and those behind it stand exposed.

While Choudhary claimed that nearly 200 Youth Congress workers courted arrest, Jabalpur's Superintendent of Police said only 50 activists courted arrest.
Madhya Pradesh state Youth Congress spokesperson Sameer Dixit also alleged that investigations into the DMAT scam has "slowed down".
On June 13, the Madhya Pradesh Congress had alleged irregularities in admissions to private medical colleges in the state and claimed that its beneficiaries included a relative of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a charge strongly denied by the ruling BJP.
The Congress alleged that besides Chouhan, DMAT scam beneficiaries included kin of top politicians, judges, IAS and IPS officials.
The DMAT scam pertains to admissions to medical and dental courses in private colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
Youth Congress activists also protested in the state capital, demanding a CBI probe into the scam.
