A protest march by Indian Youth Congress activists on the third anniversary of the Modi government today was stopped by police, on way to the BJP headquarters here.
The youth wing of Congress party held 'Jawab Do Hisab Do' protests all over the country attacking the BJP-led NDA government over its "failure" to fulfil its promises in the last three years.
"This protest was held to remind Prime Minister Narendra Modi about his promises made during the 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign. Despite three years, all his promises still remain unfulfilled," IYC president Amrinder Singh Raja said.

The protesters raising slogans against the Modi government and holding placards and banners with slogans on the issues of unemployment, farmers' suicide, atrocities against Dalits and rise in prices of essential commodities, were stopped by police at a barricade on the way to the BJP headquarters on Ashoka Road.
"The government has failed to provide two crore jobs annually which PM Modi had promised. The future of the country is dark from the economic and social point of view," Raja added.
