The West Bengal Youth Congress today staged a protest rally outside the Raj Bhawan here against BJP's "unconstitutional" government formation in Manipur and Goa, despite Congress emerging as the single largest party.
"The unconstitutional government formation in Manipur and Goa reflects the actual face of BJP government, endorsed and gifted by Modi and RSS-BJP combine. We strongly condemn the deliberate, political, and biased decisions of Governors of Goa and Manipur," West Bengal Youth Congress general secretary Preetom Karmakar said.
The youth Congress activists waved black flags and burnt effigies of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah outside Raj Bhawan in Kolkata.
N Biren Singh was today sworn in as the Chief Minister of the first-ever BJP-led government in Manipur after the Assembly election threw up a hung house.
