today when a speeding matador hit him and locals blocked the road at Chandrakona Road in West Midnapore district.
The police said Biru Singh (37) died on the spot at Duki when the vehicle hit him.
He was crossing National Highway 60.
The locals blocked the highway for an hour demanding compensation to the family of Singh.
