A youth died when a wall of his flood-affected house collapsed in a locality near Dal Lake here, police said today.
Sajad Ahmad Kand (22) was cleaning his house at Kand Mohalla yesterday when a wall collapsed, causing critical injuries to him, a police spokesman said.
He said the youth was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries.
The deluge in the state in September had claimed over 280 lives.
