A youth today died after he slipped and fell from a hillock while clicking a selfie with Channagiri waterfall in the background at Doddaballapura, about 50 km from here.
Police said Naveen Kumar had gone to Channagiri for a picnic with his friends.
They chose the Channagiri waterfall for their adventurous outing, which came alive due to heavy downpour in the region for the past two months.
Naveen and his friends climbed up the rocks midway to the waterfall. While taking selfie he slipped from there and died instantaneously, police said.
