A 19-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide today by hanging himself at his residence here following a disagreement with his mother, police said.
According to police, the deceased, identified as one Kailash, had been living with his family in the Vijay Nagar area.
The youth, who had got married about a year back, was unemployed.

Police said that there was a minor altercation between Kailash and his mother over some issue following which the latter went to his room where he allegedly hung himself from the ceiling fan.
The body has been sent for a post-mortem, police added.
