A 19-year-old youth arrested in connection with abduction and rape of a minor girlescaped from a police station lock-up in west Delhi, police said today.
The accused Lal Singh (19), who was arrested in a case of abduction and rape of a minor and kept in the lock up of Nangloi police station managed to escape out after removing grill on June 28, said a police officer.
A departmental enquiry has been initiated in the matter.
The accused had eloped with the minor girl and a case was registered in this connection by police.
He was arrested aftercoming back with the girl after some time.
