Youth football challenge for boys from tomorrow

The Delhi intra-school round of the tournament will feature 32 teams competing for the 'Champion School' title.

The winning team will then be up against five other 'Champion Schools' from Kolkata, Kerala, Goa, Mumbai, Bangalore in the inter-city finals.

The tournament is expected to cast a wide net to identify some of the most talented junior footballers in the country, who will then get an opportunity to be groomed by the Scottish football giant, Celtic Football Club.

"Our previous two seasons have been highly successful in developing the talent at the junior level and the third is now coming up to give young boys an opportunity to play in professionally managed environment," Deputy General Manager Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Mufaddal Choonia said.
