A 22-year-old youth was found murdered at Pydhonie in southern part of city this evening.
The deceased, identified as Danish Merchant, was a resident of a slum near Malawani bus depot, a senior police officer said.
Jayanand Ghule (28), a resident of suburban Kandivali, has been arrested in this connection, he said.
Ghule has been booked under Section 302 of IPC (murder) and the matter is being probed further, the police officer added, without giving details as to the motive behind the murder.
