Police today claimed to have arrested a youth who allegedly murdered an elderly man at Daburji village here.
Sunny Masih was arrested today for allegedly killing 75-year-old Karam Singh on July 31, police said here.
The elderly man had allegedly prevented some ladies, belonging to minority community, who used to go to his field to relieve themselves, they said.
Subsequently, the accused, belonging to the minority community, arrived at the spot and got into a heated argument with Karam over the issue and later killed him with an iron rod, police said.
