Danish, a resident of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested yesterday from near the Yamuna Bazar Bus Stand in north Delhi.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested him and on his search, 500 gms of fine quality heroin was recovered, they said.
Son of an artisan-carpenter, Danish studied up to 7th standard, came to Delhi in 1999 and started living with his maternal uncle Gulsher who was an alleged drug trafficker.
"He got attracted towards his dealings due to easy money, he started supplying heroin to the clients of Gulsher. Gulsher was arrested twice by the Narcotics Cell," a senior police official said.
