Youth held for sodomising 8-year-old boy

A youth has been arrested on charges of sodomising an eight-year-old boy in the district's Sardhana area, police said today. Abdul took the boy to a secluded spot last night and sexually assaulted him, police said. However, the child's cries for help drew neighbours to the spot who caught and beat up the accused before turning him over to the police. An unnatural offences case has been registered against the accused who is now in police custody, they said.
