A youth today tried to hang himself in Basai Mohammadupr police station here, police said.
Dileep (25) was called at the police station to identify his missing wife, whose body was recovered from a railway track on April 24, they said.
As soon as he saw the body and clothes, he lost his mental balance and tried to hang himself using the saree of his deceased wife, they said.
Policemen saw him attempting suicide and rushed him to the hospital where his condition is stated to be serious.
