A 22-year-old youth was killed and another injured when a fire broke out at a refrigeration plant here, police said today.
Tejpal, working as a trainee at the plant, was trapped inside it when a fire broke out late last night killing him on spot, they said.
Tejpal's friend Ashish, 23, sustained burn injuries and has been hospitalised, Sub-Inspector of Bajaj Nagar police station Ratan Singh said.
Seven fire tenders were pressed into service to bring the fire under control, he said, adding, the cause of fire is being investigated.
