A 24-year-old youth was killed after a tempo in which he was travelling, overturned when hit by a truck on Barah Highway, police said today.
The deceased identified as Sonu, was returning home last evening in a tempo which overturned near Gujaini Mor on being hit by a truck, police said.
While Sonu died on the spot, five persons including the tempo driver were injured.
The body has been sent for post mortem and efforts are on to nab the truck driver who is absconding, police said.
