A youth was killed in a clash between two groups in a road rage incident in Shamli district.
A marriage party returning from Baghpat to Nongalk village here last night had an argument with the occupants of three cars travelling on the same route, Circle Officer Nishank Sharma said.
A clash broke out after one of the cars tried to overtake the vehicle in which the marriage party was travelling, following which the two sides exchanged fire, he said.
Mintu was killed and several others injured in the incident, Sharma said.
A case has been registered in this regard, police said, adding security has been tightened in the area.
