A 22-year-old youth was killed by some unidentified persons due to an alleged illicit relationship in village Himmatnagar of the district, police said today.
However, family members of Ramdayal said in a complaint that he was killed last night allegedly by Pancham and Rajsahan, who hit him with bricks and slit his throat when he was sleeping on terrace of his house, police said.
The incident was stated to be fallout of illicit relationship of Ramdayal with Pancham's wife, police said.
Ataria police station officer Sanjai Kumar said that a case has been registered in this regard against Pancham and Rajsahan, who are at large.
