A jobless youth allegedly stabbed his father to death over a property dispute in the wee hours today, police said.
Akash Gangaram Shinge (28) used to pick up fight with his father (52), demanding share in his property, police inspector BS Tambe of Kasarwadavali police station said quoting the complaint filed by Mashal, younger brother of the accused who is on run.
Police said the deceased had given a specific share in his property to Akash but the latter was not satisfied.
The incident occurred at around 1 AM when Akash allegedly stabbed his father in chest and abdomen.
A case has been registered against section 302 of IPC.
