A 75-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by a youth at Daburji village here, police said today.
The victim, identified as Karam Singh, 75, last night prevented some ladies, belonging to a minority community, who used to go to his field to relieve themselves, police said here, they said.
Subsequently, the accused, identified as Sunny Masih, belonging to the minority community, arrived in the spot and got into a heated argument with Karam over the issue and later Sunny killed him with an iron rod, police said.
Accused was still at large, police said adding that efforts were on to nab him.
