A 22-year-old youth was killed this evening after a clash broke out between two groups in Bapora village of Haryana's Bhiwani district, police said.
Praveen was killed allegedly after some altercation between two groups earlier in the day. Both the groups claimed allegiance to different political parties.
"The youth was murdered. We have registered a case and further investigations were on," Bhiwani's Superintendent of Police, Satinder Gupta said.

Both Gupta and Haryana's Chief Electoral Officer Shrikant Walgad said the incident was not connected with poll violence.
"This has no relation with today's poll. It is not an incident of any poll violence. The incident did not take place in or near any polling booth," Gupta said.
When contacted, Congress MP and party candidate from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh, Shruti Choudhry said she had learned about the incident and it was quite sad that a life had been lost.
When asked if the deceased was a Congress worker, she said, "I am not sure about that. I am trying to find out.
