A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth at a hotel room here following which a case was registered against him, police said today.
According to the victim's complaint, Javed, who used to make frequent calls to her, called her yesterday and threatened to commit suicide if the she did not meet him.
He then allegedly took her to the Golf Club Hotel here where he commited the crime. He also kept her confined her to the hotel room all night, police said.
The accused left the victim at an intersection in the morning. She narrated her ordeal to her mother following which a complaint was registered.
Police said they were searching for the accused.
