Manoj, with his wife and a friend, was returning to his village when he was killed, SHO of the Salhavaas area said.
Jhajjar SP Patram Singh along with other police officers rushed to the spot and sent the body to civil hospital for postmortem.
Later, a team of forensic experts also visited the scene of crime.
