An 18-year-old youth was shot dead and his friend injured by unidentified persons in Laar area, police said here today.
Naved was shot dead in front of his house and his friend Jaid sustained bullet injury when some persons opened fire at them late last night, they said.
Jaid has been admitted to a hospital, police said, adding that the motive behind the murder was not clear.
