An 18-year-old youth was shot dead allegedly by some unidentified men in Kotwali area here in the wee hours today.
Shibu was returning home when some motorcycle-borne men shot him near his house, said Abhishek Tripathi, Station House Officer (SHO) of Kotwali.
The body has been sent for post mortem examination and a probe was on, he said.
