Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today called upon the youth to acquaint themselves with what is happening around the world and they should listen to the news bulletins of AIR or Doordarshan.
Administering the pledge (Sankalp Parva: Sankalp Se Siddhi) to all those present at a function organised by the Regional Centre (Chennai) of Song and Drama Division of Union Information and Broadcasting Ministryin association with the Pondicherry University here, she said the youth should dedicate themselves to ensuring 'Clean , Corruption-free and Communalisim-free India'.
Leading artistes presented programmes highlighting the spirit of patriotism in different languages and different cultural features of the nation.
