A 26-year-old youth has been booked here for allegedly obtaining passport by submitting fake documents here, police said today.

The crime branch is also investigating if the accused person made the counterfeit passport to travel abroad in a bid to join some terrorist outfit, they said.

Nadim Raza Rizvi, a resident of Raipurva in the district, made the passport on a fake name of Abu Jar one month back, Kanpur SSP Shalabh Mathur said.
