A group of unidentified youths allegedly trespassed into a girls hostel of a mental hospital here and molested nursing students of the institution, police said today.
The youths entered the girls hostel yesterday where they molested the students of Vidya Sagar Mental Hospital, but fled from the scene when the victims raised alarm, police said.
Meanwhile, the students protested about the incident and vandalized the car of Nursing College's Principal in the wake of inadequate security outside the hostel, they said.
Police has registered a case against the unidentified youths under various sections.
No arrest has been made in this connection yet, police said, investigation in the matter is underway.
