YouTube announces first feature film 'Dance Camp'

Video-sharing website, YouTube, is set to begin the production of its first feature film, "Dance Camp".

The music-and-dance teen-drama film will be co-produced by Awesomeness Films and stars Nadji Jeter of "Grown Ups" fame and YouTube and Vine sensations Meg DeAngelis and Jake Paul, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Directed by the female duo Bert and Bertie, "Dance Camp" will see Jeter, 18, play Hunter, a reckless teen whose mother ships him off to dance camp.

While he initially refuses to take the camp and its eclectic dancers seriously, he soon finds himself connecting with Cheyenne (DeAngelis) and teaming up with his fellow misfit campers to face off against a rival dance group's leader (Paul).
 

Jon M Chu will produce "Dance Camp", which will be choreogrphed by Fatima Robinson of "The Voice", "Dreamgirls" fame.

Josh Leyva, Jordyn Jones, Jacob Wysoki, Niki Demartino, and Gabi Demartino also star in the movie.
