A delegation of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MPs on Thursday met Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and urged him to take steps for the release of 22 Andhra Pradesh fishermen imprisoned in Pakistan.
These fishermen are from the state's Vizianagaram district. They have been arrested and imprisoned in Pakistan, party sources said.
The delegation of 22 MPs was led by YSRCP Parliamentary Party leader V Vijaasai Reddy.
