YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy said here today that after Lok Sabha elections, his party would support any political party which would help keep Andhra Pradesh "united".

"Our stand is clear. I don't know which coalition will come to power. Whoever can keep the state united, we will give total support to keep them in the Prime Minister's chair. I had said this at a public meeting in Hyderabad earlier," he told reporters here.

The YSRCP would continue to make efforts "till the last day and the last minute" to keep Andhra Pradesh "united", he said when asked whether he was still hopeful of keeping Andhra Pradesh "united".

The draft Telangana bill is presently under consideration of the AP State Legislature, after having been referred to it by the President.

Jagan said MLAs, cutting across political lines, should submit an affidavit to President Pranab Mukherjee during his stay in Hyderabad, to keep Andhra Pradesh united.

He hit out at AP Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu for allegedly playing politics on the issue of division of Andhra Pradesh and not being sincere in their efforts.
