Jammu and Kashmir Director of Information, Zaffar Ahmed Bhat was today appointed as the Tourism Secretary of the state.
The decision in this regard was taken by the state Cabinet, which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, an official spokesman said.
He will replace Principal Secretary, Tourism, Atal Dulloo, who is proceeding on Central deputation.
Bhat will continue to hold the charge of the Director Information till further orders.
