Zaheerabad MP escapes unhurt after road accident

Zaheerabad Member of Parliament B B Patil escaped unhurt after a road accident in Medak district today afternoon, the police said here.

B B Patil was going to Pitlam in Nizamabad district to attend a zonal function after participating in the Haritha Haram event at Patancheru along with Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao.

At about 3 pm near Chander Nayak Tanda under Bajegaon village of Kalher mandal in Medak district, driver lost his control over the vehicle while trying to avoid hitting buffaloes consequently car turned turtle.

In this incident Zaheerabad MP B B Patil was unhurt but his vehicle got damaged where as two buffaloes got injured. Soon after incident, the MP went to Pitlam to attend scheduled programmes in another vehicle.
 

Narayankhed police is investigating the case.
