Zeal Aqua gets listed on BSE SME platform

Shares of Zeal Aqua today got listed on the SME index of stock exchange BSE, taking the total number of small and medium enterprises on the platform to 141.

On its debut, shares of the Gujarat-based company closed at Rs 134.60, up 3.5 per cent from its issue price.

Of the 141 firms on BSE SME, as many as 18 companies have migrated to the exchange's mainboard.

As many as 15 companies have submitted their draft herring prospectus with BSE and are awaiting approval.

Zeal Aqua came out with its initial public offering of 11.35 lakh shares at an issue price of Rs 130 to raise Rs 14.75 crore. The company has successfully completed its public issue on June 30, 2016.
 

The company is engaged in farming and producing shrimps and has among others 1,050 satellite farms which supply inputs related to shrimp feeds, shrimp seeds, probiotics and other aquaculture related products.
