The 60-year-old beauty has teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to fight for the cause.
In a letter to Municipal Commissioner Sitaram Kunte, Aman said, "Recently, while a vigil was being held in Mumbai for one beleaguered horse who had died, another horse forced to haul a carriage collapsed. How many more horses and people have to become injured or die before horse carriages are banned in Mumbai?"
The 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' actress has joined hands with other Bollywood celebrities including Hema Malini, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez in the campaign to ban horse-drawn carriages.
