Actress-singer Zendaya has thanked the parents of her fans for allowing her to be a role model during her acceptance speech at Kids' Choice Awards
The Disney star won favourite female TV star - Kids' show for "K.C. Undercover" at the ceremony and used her speech to explain how seriously she takes being someone that young people look up to, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"This means so, so much to me. I've been doing this for a long time, and I do it for you guys. I just want you to know that doing and making positive programming for young people is so important to me, and I will keep doing it," Zendaya, 19, said.
"To all the parents out there, thank you for allowing me to be a role model for your children. I really, really do not take that for granted.
