Zinc prices strengthened by 0.17 per cent to Rs 210.65 per kg in futures market today as traders engaged in enlarging positions, driven by rising demand in demand in the spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in December traded higher by 35 paise, or 0.17 per cent to Rs 210.65 per kg in business turnover of 98 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in November edged up by 10 paise, or 0.05 per cent to Rs 211.25 per kg in 1342 lots.
