Zinc prices rose at the non-ferrous metals market here Wednesday on stockists' buying amid sustained demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, copper and brass recovered marginally due to renewed demand from industrial users.
Zinc prices firmed up by Rs 6 to Rs 231 per kg from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 225 and copper sheet cuttings regained by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 448 as against Rs 445 yesterday.
Copper armature, copper utensils, brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cuttings inched up per kg each to Rs 450, Rs 426, Rs 344 and Rs 354, respectively.
