Zinc prices slip on subdued demand

Zinc, copper scrap heavy and copper armature slipped at the non-ferrous metals market here today on stockists' selling amid subdued demand from alloy industries.

While, brass prices gained further on firm demand from consumer industries.

Zinc fell by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 244 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 247.

Copper scrap heavy and copper armature softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 443 and Rs 435, respectively.

However, brass sheet cutting moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 354 from Rs 352.

Brass utensils scrap inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 337.
