Zinc recovers in listless trade

Zinc prices recovered in an otherwise listless non-ferrous market here today following fresh demand from alloy industries.

Copper wire bar dropped further due to poor offtake from consuming industries.

Zinc prices edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 167 from Monday's closing level of Rs 165.

However, copper wire bar softened by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 403 as against Rs 405 yesterday.
