: Software products company Zoho Corp today said it has formed an alliance with Standard Chartered Bank to enhance banking services for the customers.
As per the alliance, business account holders at Standard Chartered Bank can pay their suppliers either through cross-border payments or bank transfers from Zoho Books, Zoho's Cloud Accounting software.
"I am very excited about Zoho and Standard Chartered coming together. With this partnership, corporate banking solutions are directly baked into their accounting software driving innumerable efficiencies," city-based Zoho Corp, CEO, Sridhar Vembu said in a company statement.
"As an example, cross-border payments requiring tiresome documentation can be directly initiated from Zoho Books infusing simplicity into a complex process that encourages business to scale globally," he said.
With Zoho Banks giving real time visibility, Standard Chartered Bank's corporate clients can now avail the benefits of this integration in addition to supply chain financing solutions, the statement said.
The collaboration with Zoho offers clients a revolutionary experience, enabling them to interact seamlessly, resulting in simpler reconciliation, faster payments, Standard Chartered Bank, Transaction Banking - Head (India and Nepal), Managing Director, Sanjay Gurjar said.
