(Reuters) - India's currency, debt and equities markets are closed on Thursday for a public holiday. Trading will resume on Friday.
The broader NSE Nifty ended 0.39 percent weaker at 11,234.35 on Wednesday, while the benchmark BSE Sensex closed 0.45 percent lower at 37,121.22.
The benchmark 10-year bond yield closed at 8.0741 percent on Wednesday, while the rupee edged up to 72.3700 per dollar from its previous close of 72.9750.
