Indian markets closed today for public holiday

India's debt, equities, and currency markets will be closed March 25, Friday, for a public holiday. Trading will resume on Monday.

The Nifty ended up 0.02% on Wednesday, while the Sensex rose 0.03%.

The benchmark 10-year bond rose 1 basis point to 7.51% from its previous close.

The rupee strengthened to 66.6350/6450 per dollar from its 66.71/72 close on Tuesday.
