MUMBAI (Reuters) - The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) net sold $5.8 billion in the spot forex market in May, compared with $2.5 billion in April, according to data published in its monthly bulletin on Wednesday.
The central bank's net outstanding forward dollar purchase stood at $11.25 billion as of May-end, compared with $17.39 billion in April, the bulletin showed.
