Rupee sheds gains as dollar rises after U.S. elections result

Reuters Market Eye - The rupee is trades at 61.4075 versus Monday's close of 61.40/41. Falls from an intraday high of 61.3350.

Dollar rallies against global majors after Republican victory in U.S. mid-term elections clears political uncertainty.

Dollar index up 0.36 percent.

Nifty up 0.2 percent.
