S&P 500, Dow end at record highs after jobs data

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and Dow ended at record highs for another session on Friday after the May payrolls report provided the latest confirmation that economic conditions were improving.

Based on the latest available data, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 87.66 points or 0.52 percent, to 16,923.77, the S&P 500 gained 8.96 points or 0.46 percent, to 1,949.42 and the Nasdaq Composite added 25.17 points or 0.59 percent, to 4,321.40.
