MUMBAI (Reuters) - The BSE Sensex and Nifty snapped a four-day losing streak to end higher on Wednesday as investors churned positions in favour of exporters, including defensive stocks on caution ahead of the outcome of the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy meeting.
The BSE Sensex ended up 0.38 percent, while the Nifty closed 0.46 percent higher.
