NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. stocks slipped on Monday along with declines in health and consumer shares and as investors braced for policy news from central banks.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> fell 73.29 points, or 0.41 percent, to 17,725.2, the S&P 500 <.SPX> lost 9.25 points, or 0.44 percent, to 2,080.86 and the Nasdaq Composite <.IXIC> dropped 18.86 points, or 0.37 percent, to 5,108.67.
