`Quality, Cost Crucial For Garment Units'

International consultants Booz Allen and Hamilton have recommended that the highways department in Tamilnadu be restructured to enable better utilisation of funds and help hasten decision-making process.

This report is funded by the World Bank and forms part of the international funding agency's attempts to strengthen and streamline the institutional sector for road development in the state.

World Bank funding of road projects in the state totals Rs.900 crore. The Booz Allen report forms part of the World Bank projects in the state.
