Security prices improved by around 5-10 paise and the new security, 11.78 per cent 2003, was traded at a premium of 6-10 paise at the wholesale debt market (WDM) segment of the National Stock Exchange.
There were a total of 85 trades, aggregating to Rs 520.16 crore, done yesterday.

The 11.55 per cent 2001 was traded at a high of Rs 100.27 crore, a low of Rs 100.19 crore and at a weighted yield of 11.43 per cent. The security saw 28 trades for a total of Rs 155 crore. The new security, which saw 17 trades for Rs 130 crore, was traded at a weighted yield of 11.74 per cent.
The 11.68 per cent 2002 saw only one trade for Rs 5 crore at Rs 100.23, or a yield of 11.59 per cent.
The commercial paper of Tisco maturing on October 29 was traded for Rs 5 crore at a yield of 9.80 per cent. There was also a repo trade struck at 7.25 per cent for Rs 10 crore, for a 12-day period.
The total volume of treasury bills traded was Rs 46.75 crore. Of this, the 364-day t-bill maturing on October 9 was traded at a weighted yield of 7.51 per cent.
